The Main Range, started in southern Thailand, ends near the southern tip of the Negri Sembilan state. From there on, landscape is that of isolated hills protruding from the plains. The outstanding and tallest among them, Gunong Ladang. Next, further south, the plain gives way to a series of rolling hills. This broad area is designated as the Endau Rompin Park. Its coverage stretches in 2 States -Pahang and Johore. Towards the tip of the Peninsula, southern Johore States to be exact, the land goes into an unique formation where gentle waves of undulations dominate the scene. The better looking and gigantic waterfalls are seen inside the Endau Rompin Park, Then, of course, outside the Park, the other 2 large and co-incidentally, very known waterfalls of Peninsula are found also in Johore. Listed above, both run down from isolated hillocks. Waterfalls of notable size are scarce in other places. To name a few, the lesser known waterfalls accessible to the public are in Gunong Pulai, Belmut and Bekok as good picnic destinations.
