Damak Falls is situated in Ulu Geroh where Rafflesia flowers and Raja Brookes butterflies are commonly found. It is also known to the local aboriginal as Lata Jemon. There are 2 levels of waterfall here, a lower level horsetail waterfall flowing down a roughly 3.5m tall rock face into a waist deep pool and a sloped wide cascade fall upriver. Beyond the confluence upriver is another series of waterfall known as Kundor Falls. Although the trail is not long nor difficult, beginners should NOT attempt this waterfall alone due to sections of the trail being unclear. It is possible to hire a guide from Ulu Geroh OS village.

Damak Fall 1

The trailhead of Damak Falls is situated deep within jungle valleys of Gopeng. From Gopeng town, visitors can head towards Gaharu Tea Valley as the landmark which is situated at Kg. Sg Itek. Proceed along the main tarred road (which is slightly narrow) up to a Y-junction. Take the right junction here (Image 1.) across the bridge to proceed inwards. Along the route, visitors will pass many nature resorts and outdoor campsites; one of them is Sementra Nature Resort. Pass this resort that is situated within oil palm estates where the tarred road turns into single path going towards orang asli villages. Pass the Kg Orang Asli Tonggang where the stream is visible near the road. Some pockets of parking spaces are available here beside the stream and before the left turn up (which goes to Kg OS Ulu Geroh), park without obstructing passing traffic. Proceed by foot from here on.

Follow the clear trail by the end of the road on the left of the stream. Up ahead there is a forked junction.(Image 2.) Keep to the right path and cross the stream. A semi clear trail is visible beyond the durian orchards but may be vague due to lack of visitors. Close to the waterfall, visitors will have to river trek the rest of the way.
