Jeram Kongkoi
Jeram Kongkoi is a rocky cascade fall roughly one story tall. To visit this waterfall, visitors need to 1st check the weather of the day as there is a main stream crossing. Visitors would find themselves in a bad situation unable to cross the river should heavy rains roll pass the region. This waterfall is not suitable for beginners to attempt without guidance due to the unmarked trails.
There are no nearby towns to the trailhead. The nearest is Hulu Langat from the west, Semenyih town to the south and Titi town from the east. Do also note that there is not a single petrol station along the route between Hulu Langat and Titi town, so visitors should be prepared and refill earlier. Route N32 is a mountain pass route with many curves and turns, navigate carefully to the Selangor-Negeri Sembilan border known as Genting Peres where the trailhead is nearby.(here) There are some spaces on the road shoulder for visitors to park. Ensure to park responsibly without obstructing traffic. Proceed by foot from here on out.
Exploration Notes : There are small cascades directly upriver of Jeram Kongkoi but nothing of significance have been found further upriver 1.1km away.
