Jeram Kenua is a series of low height cascade falls located behind the borders of oil palm estates. There are 6 POIs in total but only 2 can still borderline be accepted as small falls. The rest are the usual river cascades that are very common and uninspiring.
This waterfall is NOT suitable for beginners due to the unmarked jungle trails that require navigational knowledge and experience. Visitors who wish to visit this waterfall are advised to engage a guide to avoid getting lost.

Jeram Kenua 2

Head to Slim Village as the landmark. This is a small chinese village that can be accessed via Slim River from the west or from Tanjung Malim town from the south. Proceed towards Pos Bersih to reach the inner region. The road conditions are acceptable with the tarred road reasonably maintained. However it is quite narrow and some sections are gravel road condition that is passable by sedan cars. Follow the main road and navigate to a river side chalet where the trailhead is located.(here). There are spaces along the road shoulder where visitors can park their vehicles. Ensure to park responsibly to avoid being an inconvenience to others. Proceed by foot from here on out.

The trailhead is not obvious and starts from a rutted dirt road.(Image 1.) Follow this dirt trail where visitors will be walking within oil palm estates. Follow this road along the edge of the estate where visitors will reach the end border of the oil palm estate near the river.(Image 2.) The trail seems to end here but there is a visible foot trail down to the river between the bushes. There is a small cascade fall nearby with an inviting pool.(Image 3.)

Follow the footpath and scale up a slope to connect to an old logging trail. Follow the trail in up to a forked junction.(Image 4.) The junction on the right leads to the river where visitors can river trek to visit the lower cascade falls. While the left path bypasses the lower levels directly to Jeram Kenua 2. The choice is entirely up to visitors themselves but obviously river trekking will be more rewarding but slower. POIs that will be found is documented below via river trekking.

Eventually both trails will intersect and reach a stream crossing where Jeram Kenua 2 is located. There is no pool but during wet seasons the cascade spread may be more interesting. To exit use the same entry trail.

Exploration Notes : Further exploration yielded no waterfalls where the stream splits into 2 tributaries. On the left are big boulders underground stream and on the right the stream disappears underground as well below smaller boulders.
