Parit Falls is a waterfall with 2 levels that has an easy access known only to the locals. If visited during times where there is higher rainfall, it would have a nice cascade spread over its stair step rock slope. Unfortunately local folk also tap the stream for water and there are numerous poly pipes along the side of the river.
This waterfall can possibly be done by beginners due to the short trail, but do note that there is no established trail.
Parit Falls 2
Head to Tanjung Ipoh as the nearest landmark town. It is accessible from the east via Seremban town and from the west via Kuala Pilah. Take the junction heading in to Seri Menanti and proceed to Kg Ulu Parit. There is a small clearing by the road shoulder (here) where visitors can park a few cars. Ensure to park without obstructing local village folk. Proceed by foot from here on out.
Proceed to walk up the small hill following the road where there are fish ponds on the right side. Beside the fish ponds there is a walking path where visitors will reach a durian orchard. Nearby, Parit Falls 1 (Image 1.) can be seen. It has a small pool for soaking. To proceed upriver, follow a small trail on the right hand side of the river (following the poly pipes). Just a short distance away is Parit Falls 2. There is no pool but the water is clear and pristine. To exit, follow the same entry trail.
