Terisai Fall is a quiet waterfall underappreciated and virtually unknown to the local community. While the waterfall does not look impressive in the photo, its full height is actually taller. The waterfall is curved in shape, obstructing the view of the top section that is hidden behind the restrictive tall narrow rock cliffs that it is nested in. The surrounding rock cliffs does however form natural mid sized pools that is great for swimming similar to Lata Berembun, Hulu langat. During our visit, there is ongoing earthworks on the main track, the trail may be subject to changes. This waterfall is NOT suitable for beginners as the trail is unmarked and bushy. (due to the clearing of trees & shrubs)

Terisai Fall

Head to Batu Malim town as the nearest landmark. Batu Malim is a small village with some recreational activities at its upstream interior region. (see : Lata Lembik) Right at the zero marker there is a junction turning towards Lata Lembik. Follow this tarred road for awhile till arriving at a small junction here. Turn into this junction and immediately park by the empty clearings by the side without obstructing passing vehicles. Proceed by foot from here on out.

A backhoe was clearing the main trail during the visit, possibly to connect to a durian plantation inside. (Trail may be subject to changes both physically and visually) The main dirt trail is not a long one. Follow it for about 1km distance to the 1st junction down towards the river. (Image 1.) At the end of the road is a clearing where there is a small sloped path down towards the river.(Image 2.) It will not be heading straight towards the waterfall but rather joins the river some distance downriver as the slope is too steep. River trek the rest of the way once arriving by the river to reach the waterfall. The waterfall has a v-shaped pool at its base flanked by tall vertical slopes on both sides, but it is not too deep (below chest during drier seasons) and can be waded across to gain access to the inner fall.
