how many falls altogether? 7? are the pools deep enough or wide enough to jump into? I saw some visitors doing that on other pages. Love the bit on elephant poop. Little details like that makes the article more interesting.

Visited the site on Saturday, 03 May 2008. Heavy rain at noon. Early warning system activated to warn visitors on the hazard of sudden storm surge or "kepala air". Also noticed some dead or termite eaten hollow branches crashing down near the paved foot path. At about 13:40 it was reported that 3 persons were killed by the storm surge. So visitors please be careful of the potential hazards.

many years ago, I had trek up the river from the Sekayu waterfall for about 4 hours. up there is untouched with beautiful serene stream and ponds, where you can have head down dive from the rock. worth all the effort to trek

been to sekayu for membujur lalu melintang patah organize by JPA. have to stay there for 1 nite, main police sentry lagi memalam buta. facilities not that good, dirty toilets and chalet, but somehow terpaksa jugak. did not have much fun here coz its kind of packed with activities. daytrip should be okey i guess.
